Mr. Akin’s experience includes the design of interior and exterior lighting, programmable lighting control systems, daylight-harvesting, theatrical lighting systems, sound reinforcement systems, intercommunications systems, structured cabling systems, audio visual systems, clock and program systems, low voltage (<600V) power distribution, medium voltage (4.16kV - 25kV) power distribution (underground and overhead), medium voltage electrical substations, medium voltage chiller plants, system short circuit and coordination, lightning protection systems, grounding systems for sensitive electronic environments, intrusion detection systems, emergency and standby power generation systems, uninterruptible power supply systems, and fire alarm and detection systems for educational, institutional, commercial and industrial projects.
